Job Description

Perform protective, preventative, safety and security related enforcement functions touring the Rule G facility to ensure the safety and well-being of guests, visitors and staff.  Implements and monitors all security operations in accordance with all applicable laws andcompany policies in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances and threats.

The following are some of the main duties and responsibilities for our head of security:

  • Keep Rule G a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our desired guests
  • Ensure Rule G is safe and secure from any sort of incidences or acts of violence
  • Resolve all incidences and disturbances that arise during operating hours
  • Responding to intrusion, fire, and health & safety related incidents
  • Coordinating with police, fire and emergency medical personnel as needed
  • Ensure that the door personnel are verifying age with proper identification
  • Ensure that the door personnel are enforcing our dress code
  • Prevent the entry of unauthorized people
  • Enforce all rules, and warn any violators of possible consequences
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Manage the security team to ensure a safe environment

Requirements

  • Previous or current law enforcement experience is strongly preferred
  • Previous security experience is preferred
  • The more knowledge of, and experience with, false forms of identification the better
  • The more knowledge of the city and surrounding entertainment areas the better
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED requred
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including all weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of shift
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling
  • Ability to walk significant distances between and within buildings quickly
